There are numerous opportunities to attend a Lobsterfest throughout the United States. Lobsterfest's are a great way to enjoy a feast with fellow lobster lovers in a family friendly environment. Lobster and seafood festivals in general are held annually during August through September months.
One for the record books is the The Port Of Los Angeles Lobster Festival in September, that hold the World Record for the most seafood served at an event held outdoors. Scenic outdoor park and shops at Ports O' Call in San Pedro, California are conveniently available. Parades, street performers, a pirate camp, tall ships, arts and crafts, and musical performances add to the festivities of The Port Los Angeles Lobster Festival.
For 20,000pounds of delicious Maine Lobster, try the Rockland, Maine Lobster Festival in August. Not only is lobster on the menu but also various arts and crafts, Lobsterfest theme party games and activities for children, U.S. Coast Guard Station tours, road races, carnival rides, and seafood cooking contests.
Biloxi Seafood Festival (September) - The annual Biloxi Seafood Festival attracts more than 25,000 festival goers. Food events feature a gumbo championship, jambalaya, shrimp, and fried fish. Plenty of music allows locals and tourists to enjoy the food while listening to musical performances.
North Carolina Seafood Festival (October) - For more than 22 years, the second largest Festival in North Carolina, offers seafood, regional/national musical entertainment and cultural heritage and traditions that surround commercial fishing. Arts & craft vendors, an 8K road race, and rides are also an option to view or participate in.
Bands, seafood, and arts and crafts are all there for the public to enjoy at the Astoria Warrenton Crab and Seafood Festival held in April for the past 27 years. Other culinary foods at the theme party include the locally loved Rotary club's traditional crab dinner.
New Jersey Seafood Festival in Belmar (June) - New Jersey Seafood Festival in Belmar offers shrimp, lobster, calamari, exotic alligator sausage, sushi, seafood paella and conch fritters.
Hampton Beach, New Hampshire Seafood Festival (September) - New England's largest seaside event features more than 60 seafood restaurants serving a wide range of seafood cuisine. Attractions include 80 arts & crafts vendors, end-of-the-season Sidewalk Sales, a Kiddie Land, culinary chef demonstrations, two stages of entertainment with bands and orchestras, fireworks display and a Sky Diving show.
