Parents and children should know that this is a pajama party and arriving in pajamas is acceptable and encouraged. There must be sleeping arrangments made in advance for all the kids. Inflatable mattresses, cots, and additional blankets and lines should be provided. To create a cozy ambience for the pajama party select scented candles, streamers, balloons, and lights.

Murder Mystery: Murder Mystery is an easy-to-play pajama party game that will keep guests attentive and entertained. Parents should cut out slips of paper for every party guest, writing murderer on just one of the slips and leaving the others blank. The girls then draw a slip of paper without showing it to anyone else. During the course of the party the murderer kills other players by winking at them. When winked at, the player should count to three and fall on the floor. At any point players can accuse other players of murder. The catch is if the player who accuses the murderer is wrong, they must die as well.

There are lots of games and activities for pajama parties like; Name That Tune, trivia games on TV shows and movies, and scavenger hunts. Showing various romantic comedies or horror movies (which may not be age appropriate), is also a nice way for girls to enjoy the pajama party.
